  Notes	Occupations: Owned and operated one of the first gasolene stations atPoquonock (Windsor), Connecticut. He also owned land where he raisedtobbacco for sale to cigarette makers. It is possible that this landmay have been part of the original Marshall property left to him byhis mother. Frank also did carpentry and construction work. Military: U.S. Army, Company K, First Regiment of Connecticutvolunteers. Mustered into service May 17 to July 14, 1898 inConnecticut and sent to Nogales New Mexico for training.The FirstConnecticut had 42 officers and 798 men. Shipped to Miami for stagingat the invasion of Cuba, but Spain surrendered before he shipped out.Mustered out in Hartford, October 31, 1898. Frank's hobby was woodworking. He was a tall thin man who usually had a cigar stuck in his mouth. Hewas a very patriotic man who was facinated by airplanes and warships.He spent his last few years in a VA hospital where he died.
