  	Jesse Alvin Blocher died in the arms of his oldest and only survivingson, Thomas David Blocher. After the family finished watching anepisode of the Western TV series "Wagon Train", Thomas David Blocherwent to help get his father out of his bed for dinner, when suddenlyJesse Alvin passed away while prompt in his son's arm. Jesse AlvinBlocher's death was a result of a combination of strokes and heartattacks, and was enhanced from serious burns cause when Jesse wastrying to thow out his truck and the torch caught his pants on fire,about 6 months prior to his death. He was residing at 5303 RockIsland Ave., East Wenatchee, Washington. His house was passed down tohis only surviving son, Thomas D. Blocher, who continued to residedtheir until early part of 1990, which had to be sold as a last resortbefore having it legally reposessed.

  Notes	Jesse was believed to have been raised by Bert Clifford Holland [hisdaughter in-law believes the it was Bert Steele] after his mother diedwhen he was a small child. In 1909, it is believe that he rejoinedhis father and brother, Edward, to migrate from Indiana to Wenatchee,Washington after the death of his first step-mother. He performed many occupations in his lifetime in the Wenatchee area,which included being a Security Guard for the construction of the RockIsland Dam and later retiring in the late 1950's as the costudian ofthe Rock Island School, which he was a charter member of the schoolboard. He was known to be a good hearted and well respected man.
