  Notes	Nathan Perry is believed to have been born around 1750-1760 in North Carolina, but it is unknown for sure. He could have been born in Virginia before they moved over to Perquimans County. We do know that he moved to Tennessee in 1801, along with his brothers William and Darling. A Wake County Tax Collector was excused from collecting a Poll Tax from Nathan Perry since he had left the County. He had at least one child, and probably more, born in Tennessee, but he also had children born in North Carolina. He moved to Southwest Alabama (Territory of Mississippi) sometime around 1810, since he is in the Washington County, Mississippi Territory 1810 Census. This census indicates that his family consisted of one male over 21, most likely himself, six males under the age of 6, one female over the age of 21, most likely his wife, and no females under the age of 21. He had one slave. One of Nathan Perry's children was named Nathan Wilson Perry. It is not known if Nathan Wilson was the first child or not, but it is believed that he was. Nathan Wilson was born around 1796 in North Carolina.
